ISO 9001
This international norm specifies requirements regarding the systems of management with the goal to emphasize quality and, by consequence, customer satisfaction. It is the development of clear processes that take place within the company. The application of such processes could be certified by an independent certification entity who would state that the company is ISO 9001 certified.
Note: This norm is applicable to the system of management, in other words the companys’ internal organization, not the products itself. A product can not be certified ISO 9001.
