Polygonal Turning

Polygonal turning enables the milling of polygonal shapes without interrupting the rotation of the workpiece. Milling heads with complex geometrics cut workpieces with polygonal ends which are used for applications such as test plungers in the electronics industry.

This technology requires perfect syncronization of the milling head and the workpiece. Simultaneously, specialist knowledge and the ability to conceive spatial movements are needed in the design department.
