Polishing

Polishing removes any sharp burrs from the turned and hardened workpieces. This step also improves the smooth metal surfaces. The parts are mixed with ceramic sand and polishing fluids. This mixture is processed for several hours in vibrating drums.

The polished parts have a smooth and considerably more lustrous surface. The combination of hardening and polishing gives the parts a signivicantly longer mechanical service life.
